Players and Parents - It's time for Baseball!

We are looking for players aged 14-18 who live in the boundaries of Pierce Middle School and Henderson High School.  You do not need to attend these schools, but our teams are organized by HS boundaries.

This year we are looking to field a Youth (16U), and a Senior Team (17-19).  League age is determined by what your age will be as of 12/31/24.  Birth Years 2008 & 2009 will be 16U.  Birth Years 2005, 2006, & 2007 are eligible for Seniors.  Please note that Legion is by age and not grade. If your son is a 2010 birth year and there is room on the 16U team there is a chance he can play on the 16U team if roster spots are available & he is comfortable playing with 15 & 16 year-olds.

We would like to carry rosters of 16-18 players for each team.   

The Legion Timeline is approximately May 25^th through July 15^th.  There are Regional playoffs and State playoffs that could extend these dates.  For those new to the program, it’s a great way to get about 2-3 games in per week if not more.  I believe Youth will be going back to all wood bats this season and Seniors will remain wood bat only.  Our home field is Bob Owens Field (Henderson’s Field). Typically, there are no practices prior to the start of the season, the season will be mainly games. Majority of games will be during the week with minimal, if any, games on weekends (except for playoffs).

No payment will be due until teams/rosters are finalized).  Anyone who is in the Henderson High School boundary is eligible to participate.  If Henderson High School is, or someday will be your High School, you are eligible (even if you attend a private, charter, catholic school, etc.…)  Cost this year will be $350.00/Player.

TRYOUTS: We will have tryouts on Sunday April 7^th at Bob Owens Field for each division if needed.  Due to Legion rules, each team can only Roster 18 players so tryouts will be necessary only if we have over 18 registered in each division.
