About Us

American Legion baseball is an American baseball tradition and institution, played by most current and past professional baseball players while they were in high school.  The number of former Legion players who have gone on to the pros is far too large to chart. More than half of current major-leaguers played Legion Baseball. So did almost every working MLB manager, along with several former commissioners. In all, more than 60 program graduates are in the Baseball Hall of Fame. The level of play is comparable to the local varsity level of baseball.

Exton American Legion Post #134 baseball strives to continue the American Legion Baseball tradition by providing coaching and instruction that is intent on teaching the fundamentals of the game, improving the skills of each player, and helping each player become a respected citizen in our community.  

The level of play in our league is comparable to the local varsity level of play, and Exton Legion is determined to challenge its players by not only playing its regular league schedule, but by the scheduling of almost an additional one third of its games against some of the best teams in the State of Pennsylvania.
